On The Issues

  • Pro Life

I am 100% pro life. I have attended the March for Life in Little Rock and in Washington, D.C., and I will always vote to protect the unborn. Roe v. Wade was rightly overturned and the issue is back to the states where it belongs. We must do more to protect innocent life and our children by supporting foster care and adoption, as well as pregnancy crisis centers and non-profits that serve mothers and children in need.

  • Education

Every Arkansas child deserves a great education, regardless of zip code. I believe educating our kids is the best investment we can make as a state. I support good schools, whether they are traditional public schools, charter schools, private schools, or homeschools. I also support quality, affordable college and job training that prepares our students for high-paying careers. I am opposed to Critical Race Theory and left wing ideology being promoted in our schools. Parents, not politicians, should decide what is best for their children.

  • 2nd Amendment

I will protect and defend our right to keep and bear arms. The Constitution is crystal clear in the 2nd Amendment: “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” As your representative, I will fight to make sure Little Rock does not infringe on our rights. Gun ownership is a vital part of Arkansas’s history, our outdoor sports and recreation, and our ability to protect ourselves, our families, and our property.

  • Jobs & Economic Freedom

Our state government bureaucracy too often gets in the way of small business. Red tape and regulations make growing a business more difficult, and our tax system punishes rather than rewards hard work. I will get government out of the way, stand up for our small businesses and job creators, invest in workforce and job training, and support smart infrastructure to promote economic growth.

  • Law Enforcement

I Back the Blue, period. Now more than ever, we need our elected officials at all levels to stand with our Law Enforcement. This country was founded on the Rule of Law, and chaos will result if we allow crime to go unpunished and the Left to Defund the Police. I support reasonable criminal justice reform, but I will not allow dangerous criminals out on our streets. Protecting the people and their rights is government’s highest responsibility.

  • Taxes & Spending

In 2022, the Tax Foundation ranked Arkansas 44th for business tax climate. We have the highest income tax of any state we border except Louisiana, with Texas and Tennessee at zero income tax. We have one of the highest sales taxes in the country. While we have made progress, there is still a lot of work remaining after a century of big government Democrats running the state. I will vote to cut taxes, cut wasteful spending, and keep as much hard-earned money in families’ pockets as possible.
